The Supply Chain Management Association NB (SCMANB) and Eastern College have announced an agreement for New Brunswick graduates of Supply Chain & Logistics Diploma Program. This agreement would grant advanced standing for New Brunswick graduates of Eastern College’s full-time Supply Chain & Logistics Diploma Program to pursue their Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation.

The SCMP designation is an internationally-accredited certification of strategic supply chain leadership, and is Canada’s most widely-held designation in supply chain management. In order to grant advanced standing, SCMANB assesses the curriculum for each program component. Graduates would have sufficient training to meet the rigorous requirements of the SCMP program and students who complete Eastern’s Supply Chain & Logistics program in New Brunswick should be proud of their achievement, and consider pursuing the SCMP as the next step to becoming a leader in the supply chain.

The agreement applies to New Brunswick graduates of the full-time Supply Chain & Logistics Program who have obtained a minimum of 70%.
The equivalencies accepted are:

1. Introduction to Purchasing, Professional Purchasing and Introduction to Logistics and Transportation assessed against Module 2 Procurement and Supply Management

2. Introduction to Logistics and Transportation and Inventory Control & Materials Management assessed against Module 3 Logistics and Transportation

3. Introduction to Operations Management and Inventory Control & Materials Management assessed against Module 4 Operations and Process Management
