There are many payment options available to Eastern students.
Whether you are new to Canada, returning to school after being in the workforce, or have recently attended high school, we have options that will meet your needs. Our Financial Aid Officers are available to help with financial planning and provide guidance for completing any required documentation.
Monthly Payment Plan
An interest-free monthly payment plan can be arranged to suit your needs. All students are automatically eligible for monthly payment plans with no credit check or co-signer required.
Student Lines of Credit
Eastern has developed partnerships with Bank of Montreal and CIBC to make it easy to access Student Lines of Credit to finance your education. Eastern students also qualify for student lines of credit at most other major banks and credit unions.
Registered Education Savings Plans
Students who have been named a beneficiary under a family member’s Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP), may use funds from the RESP to finance their education at Eastern.
The Canada Revenue Agency Lifelong Learning Plan (LLP) allows you to withdraw amounts from your RRSPs to finance your education for you or your spouse.
Government Student Loan and Grant Programs
Financial assistance may be available for those who qualify.
Employer, Union and Insurance Sponsored Education Programs
Some employers, unions, and insurance plans provide education assistance and tuition reimbursement programs for employees, injured workers, and recently laid-off employees. Check with your employer or union to see if they offer any education assistance or re-training programs to determine your eligibility.
Scholarships and Bursaries
There are a number of scholarships and bursaries that Eastern students may be eligible for.
Eastern College is a partner with HigherEdPoints. Through HigherEdPoints.com, Aeroplan Miles can be redeemed for credits which can be used towards fees.
