Eastern College is excited to share a new opportunity for those interested in launching a career in healthcare. In partnership with Shannex, a well-established provider of senior care services, we are supporting a Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) program that begins on February 23 at our Halifax campus.

The Continuing Care Assistant program prepares students with the practical skills and hands-on training needed to support individuals in long-term care and healthcare environments. Through this partnership, eligible applicants will benefit from industry-aligned education and a direct pathway into an in-demand healthcare role.

About the CCA Program

This six-month CCA program offers a condensed, focused curriculum that combines classroom instruction with required hands-on training. Participants gain real-world experience and competencies that help prepare them for a career supporting the health and wellbeing of seniors and others in care settings.
