Congratulations to Richard Murphy who was a finalist for the instructor of the Year award from the Canadian Payroll Association! Richard Murphy began instructing at Eastern College in 2003. In 2003 Eastern College, formally CompuCollege, was the first college to offer the Canadian Payroll Association certification program in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Richard began instructing online for the Canadian Payroll Association in 2014.
He has been recognized by the Canadian Payroll Association in 2012 for the Board of Director’s Award. Richard has also achieved the Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) designation 2011. Since 2008, the Canadian Payroll Association has invited him to be a subject matter expert. He has also been part of their CPA Online Content Update Team since 2009.
Richard is part of the newly formed Education Platform Review Team which will be rolled out in the Fall of 2015.
Richard has also produced silver and gold medal winners for the highest mark in Atlantic Canada for the Payroll Compliance Practitioner. Eastern College is so lucky to have Richard as part of our team!
