Receive admission with advanced standing to MSVU

Graduates of the Eastern College Child and Youth Care Worker Diploma who are admitted to Mount Saint Vincent University (MSVU) will be granted a maximum of 50% of degree requirements as transfer credits towards the Child and Youth Study, BA (CYS) degree at MSVU.

Education Pathways through MSVU

Mount Saint Vincent University offers the only university-level Child and Youth Study program in Atlantic Canada. The BA(CYS) degree will prepare you for further hands-on and theoretical education and professional preparation in Child and Youth Study, Education, Speech-Language Pathology, Early Childhood Education, Early Intervention and Child Life.

Students must meet the requirements for admission for transfer students described in the MSVU calendar. Eastern College Child and Youth Care Worker Diploma Program is also recognized by the Nova Scotia Department of Community Services.
