Program Details

Information technology is one of the fastest-growing fields today, and Eastern College has developed the Information Technology Administrator (Cloud) program to help you launch a successful career in this dynamic industry. Jason W. Eckert, Dean of Technology, notes that over the past decade, the cloud has transformed how we work, communicate, and live in the digital age. As a result, modern IT administrators must understand how to manage and optimize both local and cloud infrastructures, as well as administer web, email, and database services. As the number of servers within each environment grows to meet future demand, they must also automate tasks to ensure that business operations remain scalable, flexible, and accessible. Designed to meet the high demand of employers, this program offers comprehensive training in key areas of technology administration.

In addition to PC and server administration, you’ll gain experience deploying and managing database, email, and web services within an on-premises and cloud infrastructure. Moreover, you’ll learn how to automate the configuration and management of these services and systems within any environment.

With a real-world, hands-on, and project-based approach, this program focuses on developing practical skills that are essential for success. Whether you’re configuring servers, managing networks, or working on cloud-based solutions, you’ll graduate with the knowledge and confidence needed to thrive in the IT industry.

Students in this program will receive:

  • Six exam vouchers to write the certifications you wish to pursue
  • practice tests (where applicable)
  • career services
